JOHN A. BONETA John A. Boneta graduated from Catholic University , Columbus School of Law, magna cum laude (1993). He also has a Masters degree in criminal justice from American University (1984). Prior to graduating from law school, Mr. Boneta was a K-9 Police Officer in Arlington County from 1985-1994.

He was a Field Training Officer from 1988-1990, providing individualized training for recruit officers and local training on DWI laws and defensive tactics. During law school, Mr. Boneta completed internships at both the U.S. Attorney's Office in Washington , DC and the Office of the U.S. Marshall.

Mr. Boneta was an Assistant Commonwealth 's Attorney in Arlington from 1994 to 1996. He prosecuted criminal, traffic, and juvenile cases in General District Court, and conducted jury trials on Felonies in Circuit Court. He responded to motions and prepared grand jury indictments. He was in charge of handling all Habitual Offender cases (civil and criminal) and teaching DWI law and procedure for the Police Department. He was also a member of the critical and fatal accident prosecution team.

Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Boneta was Of Counsel to the national law firm of Speiser Krause, one of the oldest and more prestigious mass disaster and aviation accident firms in the country. He has also been a partner in the Fairfax law firm of Phillips, Beckwith, Hall and Boneta, and the associate attorney responsible for handling criminal cases for Baskin, Jackson, and Hansbarger.

Mr. Boneta has taught a variety of courses at Marymount University since 1997, including Racial and Ethnic Relations, Correctional Institutions, Cultural Anthropology, and Policing in America . Since 1994 he has taught at the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Police Academy. Mr. Boneta has also taught numerous continuing legal education courses for the Virginia Bar on topics ranging from ethical issues in the practice of Criminal Law to DUI Defense, and the Use of Expert Witnesses. He was also appointed to the Falls Church City Commission on Public Safety and Human Relations in Falls Church , Virginia , in 1998.

TYLER R. CHRISTIANS TYLER CHRISTIANS is an Associate Attorney and a member of the Virginia State Bar. Mr. Christians specialized in criminal defense, DUI/DWI, Reckless Driving and all traffic violations.

Mr. Christians earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Mr. Christians was on the Dean's List and earned the Certificate of Merit for the highest achievement grade in Constitutional Law. Mr. Christians also very active in moot court competitions. Mr. Christians worked at the Oklahoma Farm Bureau in the Legal Foundation. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Professional Writing from the University of Northern Iowa. During undergraduate school, Mr. Christians was active in Student Government as well.

Mr. Christians comes from a criminal justice family with his father as a State Trooper and has always had an interest in the law, is active in various alumni and law organizations and resides in Arlington, Virginia.

JAWERIA SIYAL JAWERIA SIYAL is an Associate Attorney and a member of the Virginia State Bar. Ms. Siyal specializes in criminal defense, DUI/DWI, reckless driving and all traffic violations as well as wills and personal injury cases.

Ms. Siyal received her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she was on the Dean Scholar’s List and achieved the “Book Award” for earning the highest grade in Pre-trial Litigation Drafting and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She was also awarded the Pro Bono Honors Certificate. Ms. Siyal graduated with an International Law Certificate, which required that she complete additional class requirements .

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Siyal worked as a Paralegal for Mann Bracken LLC, where she assisted attorneys in preparing lawsuits, settlements, and post-judgment collection matters. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Politics and a Minor in Legal Studies in 2007 from George Mason University. Ms. Siyal attended Oxford University for a Pre-Honors Legal Studies Program, where she studied the difference between various legal systems around the world, specifically focusing on the European Union and the United States.

JEREMY COHN JEREMY COHN is an Associate Attorney and member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Mr. Cohn practices general litigation, including criminal defense and all traffic violations.

Mr. Cohn earned his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Washington University in Saint Louis in 2011. While at Washington University, Mr. Cohn was on the Dean’s List, was a semi-finalist in the Environmental Moot Court competition, and was an Honor Scholar Award recipient. While at Washington University, Mr. Cohn was also a student attorney in the Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic.

Mr. Cohn has also worked as a legal intern for the Missouri Coalition for the Environment and as a law clerk for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Mr. Cohn earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics and History from Tulane University in 2007.

KENT HOCUTT

Mr. Hocutt is the Law Firm Administrator and comes to us from Capitol Hill, where he completed his second Congressional Internship for Congressman Larry Kissell. Mr. Hocutt's first Congressional Internship was with Congressman Robin Hayes. Kent is recent graduate of George Mason University, where he majored in Government and International Politics.

Mr. Hocutt was an active member in club sports throughout his undergraduate career, including Baseball, Soccer and Underwater Hockey. Today, Mr. Hocutt competes in Underwater Hockey through out the US. Mr. Hocutt looks forward to completing his graduate studies, either for Law or Public Policy.
